Terms of service
These terms govern your use of saunatar.ca and any order you place through it. By using the site or placing an order you agree to them. We keep them short and plain on purpose.
The site is operated by Saunatär, of 5550 Cambie St, Unit 206, Vancouver, British Columbia V5Z 3A2, Canada. On this page, we and us mean Saunatär, and you means the person using the site.
Who can order
You must be at least the age of majority where you live, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, and you must give us accurate and complete information at checkout.
Products, prices and availability
We describe the hats as accurately as we can. Colours in a photograph depend on your screen, and wool felt varies slightly from piece to piece, which is part of what it is. Stock is limited and we may change or discontinue a product at any time.
Prices are shown in Canadian dollars to visitors in Canada and in U.S. dollars to visitors in the United States, and can change without notice. If a price or a product detail is wrong because of an obvious error, we may cancel the affected order and refund you in full, even after it has been confirmed.
Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. We may refuse or limit an order, for example when it looks like a reseller quantity, when the billing information cannot be verified, or when an item is out of stock. If we cancel your order we refund it in full and tell you why.
Payment
Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify Payments and the other providers shown at the time. We do not see or store your full card number. You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method you enter.
Shipping and returns
Shipping times, rates and import charges are set out in our shipping policy. Returns and refunds are set out in our return and refund policy. Both form part of these terms.
Using the site
The text, photographs and design on this site belong to us. You are welcome to share links and screenshots. You may not copy our product photography or descriptions for a competing listing, scrape the site, or attempt to interfere with its operation.
Use of the product
A wool hat slows the heat reaching your head. It does not make a sauna safe. Sauna use carries real risks, particularly with heart conditions, low blood pressure, pregnancy, alcohol or medication. Listen to your body, leave when you need to, and ask a doctor if you are unsure. Nothing on this site is medical advice.
Liability
We stand behind the hats, and our return policy is the practical expression of that. Beyond it, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected with a product or with this site is limited to what you paid for the order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to the greatest extent permitted.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here on the day you order. Material changes will not be applied backwards to an order already placed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. This does not remove any protection you have under the consumer law of the place you live.
